Come as you are, meet your body where it's at
Hi my friends!!! My name is Kristy Wiebe and I’ve lived in Morinville for 4 years. I’m originally
from Leduc which is where I started my Yoga journey. It all began with a Rodney Yee Yoga VHS tape
and I was intrigued.
So I built up the courage to go to a studio and instantly saw the benefits of
incorporating Yoga into my wellness routine. In fall of 2013, I decided to take my 200hr yoga
teacher training through Empowered Yoga in Edmonton, to deepen my understanding of this practice.
Through Yoga, I began to appreciate the importance of taking time to slow down and reconnect
with my mind, body, soul. To me yoga is so much more than the poses. It doesn’t matter if you
can touch your toes, instead, it's taking the time to explore the journey on the way down to
touching your toes. It’s about meeting your body where it’s at and finding peace, compassion and patience for yourself.
I specialize in Vinyasa, Yin Yoga, Yoga Shred/Hiit inspired classes, Pre/Post Natal Yoga and
more on the way to bring the community a wide range of Yoga services.
I am a bonus/step mom to 2 incredible kids ages 14 & 11 and live here in Morinville with them
and their father. We have two cats, Lucky and Wish, who keep us constantly on our toes.
You may recognize me from the amazing physio clinic I work at here in town, Morinville Physical
Therapy as a physio assistant.
When I do have down time and not doing Yoga, I enjoy going for walks, reading, coloring,
playing games with family and friends, playing with crystals and oracle cards. I can’t forget
about snuggling on the couch with a cozy blanket and throwing on Netflix.
Between tending to my family, running a business and working part time, it’s imperative that my self-care practice which includes yoga, is tended to on a regular basis in order to remain focused and grounded.
Yoga has taught me to stay rooted, to breathe, to move and most importantly, to be kind to
myself and to love myself fiercely. I look forward to seeing you in class so I can help guide you
along your Yoga journey.

Hello! My name is Jenelle Horricks and I am an AFLCA certified instructor. I started teaching in 2012 after some post wedding blues and the feeling that I needed something else to focus on. It has been an awesome side gig and I haven’t looked back since! I started with teaching different types of boot camps and group fitness classes, then I discovered barre in 2014 and I am still so in love with it! It is a muscle endurance, toning workout that really gives you that burn!
When I am not teaching or working out I am assisting at a dental office or chasing my 3 kids around! I have twin girls who are almost 7 and a little boy who is 5 that keep me very busy! Fitness has really helped me through this wild mom journey and teaching has held me accountable to take care of myself, body and mind. Hope to see you all at some of my classes!
Growing up on a farm in Mayerthorpe I have always enjoyed the outdoors and being physically active.
While pursuing my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology I first discovered Yoga and I was hooked. I loved the spiritual aspect, the breath body connection and learning to trust myself.
I believe Yoga led me to a 2 year training in Holistic Health deepening my interest in complementary therapies.
I continued my personal practice for over 10 years and then took my first Yoga teacher training in 2017.
I love to teach a strong but slower paced class, incorporating breath and soul connection.
I have a passion for chakras, energy movement, breathwork, and prenatal yoga.
My classes are suitable for all levels and my hope is you leave them feeling more grounded and connected to your body.

Hello! My Name Is Terri. My family and I just recently moved to the morinville area in the fall. We moved from St.Albert to an acreage just outside of Morinville. I am loving small town Living. I am married to a great guy and we have 2 girls. We have a few pets out here on the acreage. 3 horses named Eagle, Mae, And Mr Jones. A cat named Sam. And 2 of the cutest little pups, Belle and willow.
I am fairly new to the world of teaching yoga.I got my certification 3 years ago. I am currently taking 200 hour Sakalya yoga training as well. To me, yoga is where I can shut off my mind chatter, forget about the world and just focus on me. Yoga challenges me, helps me find my strength, helps me find my peace and be the person I want to be in this world. I love to share the knowledge I have gained from yoga to others and hope to help others find what they are looking for on the mat.
